  • Mock-interviews with coaches that interview at their own FAANG company. Companies typically have a cooldown period of 1-year before you can interview again. Doing mock interviews with CodeBreakers identifies weaknesses so you can solidify them before the real interview.

CodeBreakers is a 100% online program that starts once you enroll. You can complete it at your own pace, working through the program as quickly or as slowly as you choose. 

Income Share Agreements (ISAs) are a form of deferred payment, allowing students to focus on learning — and not on financing. With our ISA, you pay nothing until after you start working a job that earns at least your target minimum salary.

After a 2-week trial of the program, there is an initial deposit of $997 due. If you follow the program, then this deposit is entirely repaid if you don’t get a job within 6 months.

Our ISA is always based on a percentage of the total compensation for any job you receive through completing the CodeBreakers program. Below is a table with those percentages for our standard deal. These are the percentages you would pay CodeBreakers if you are getting your first job in software engineering. If you already have some work experience, check out the FAQ on experienced hires.

With the ISA, you will pay the given percentage of your total salary over 1-year. For example if you get a job paying $120,000, you would pay $1,500 monthly for a year (15% of 120,000 over 12 months).

We find that by tying our success to yours, we’re forced to evolve our product to ensure that you are getting job offers that you want and are excited about as fast as possible.

We understand that due to COVID-19 that many have lost their current jobs and can’t afford the $997 deposit.

We’ve worked with candidates with 20+ years of experience to get roles paying $400k and new graduates getting their first tech job and we understand there is no Income Share Agreement that will work for everyone.

We have three different payment plans tailored to your needs:

Option 1: $0 upfront + Full Income Share Agreement. ~15% of total compensation for jobs over 100k.

Option 2: $5,000 upfront + Half of Income Share Agreement

Option 3: $10,000 upfront.

Note: Unlike the ISA there is no guarantee of placing you a job. Most choose the ISA for this reason as it completely reduces your risk. 

All lessons and resources provided are fully online. No relocation or commute required.

For college students (masters or undergrad) graduating in 2021, we would want you to join before June 1st. You work with us over the summer of 2020 and interview in the fall (~August) for positions that start in 2021 after you graduate.

The program in total takes ~300 hours. Typically our students commit around 15-hours per week to finish the program within 6 months.

This is not a hard rule and we do not drop students. We understand that things come up and our coaches will adapt to your situation as needed.
